PANAF 1

PRODUCT INFORMATION

PANAF 1 is a specially formulated product for  the control of  various phytopathogens.

TREATMENT FOR:

Nematodes

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use 200 part water to 1 part PANAF 1 - 1:200.

2. Put 200 parts water in a tank.

3. Add 1 part PANAF 1 to water in tank.

4. Mix the water with the PANAF 1.

5. Repeat once per month for most effective containment of nematodes.

DIRECTIONS

PANAF 1 can be applied through conventional ground equipment, aerial application, or through properly equipped irrigation systems.

PANAF 1 can be tank mixed with water and PANAF 2.

Soil Application: 1L per hectare.

Leaf Application: 1L per hectare.

Note: For soil application drenching will be advisable.

Foliar (leaf) application has been proven to be the most effective method of treatment.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Acetyl-Genins

PANAF 1 BENEFITS

  • All current treatments are focused on killing or repelling worms, and consequently the eggs are left to hatch only to then resume its destructive onslaught. We have shown that the eggs can be effectively destroyed. This has never been previously achieved. Refer to images below of egg damage done by PANAF 1.
  • Current treatments in this category are highly toxic and most are now banned from the market. PANAF 1 is an all-natural, non-toxic formula. This makes it available to a wider market, such as vegetables and organic farming

  • One category of treatment, Organophosphates, merely paralyse nematodes and after some time they recover and resume their destructive pattern. PANAF 1 physically destroys nematodes as can be seen from the photos below.
  • All products currently on the market result in drug resistance, whereas the PANAF 1 product's unique formulation completely obviates this problem.

  • It is known that for some crops most of nematode damage occurs in the last month before harvesting, and because of the toxic nature of most nematicides, plants cannot be treated during this period. Because PANAF 1 contains no toxins, plants can be sprayed without causing toxicity.

COMPARATIVE STUDY

A comparative study was conducted at NWU Faculty of Natural Sciences. The graph (below) depicts the progression of Nematode eggs over a 3,5 month period.

The cycles assumed 4 hatching intervals during this period.

Egg assay was done at the end of the study, and values between Begin and Cycle 4 were calculated on a log scale. PANAF 1 was only applied during Cycle 1. This explains the lower value for eggs (-56%) at the end of Cycle 1.  Thereafter remaining eggs will continue to multiply at the same rate as the control. Clearly, the ideal would be to treat plants at least once during each subsequent hatching cycle.

Application was done by spraying leaves. In a previous study a comparison was done by applying PANAF 4 (Inoculant) to the roots of seedlings.  After 58 days the assay for the control plant was up from the initial 1000 eggs to 129000, whereas the Plant treated with PANAF 4 increased to 49000 only (a 62% reduction)..

This clearly indicates the need for a combined approach where seedlings will benefit from root treatment with PANAF 4, and thereafter during each hatching cycle with PANAF 1.
